Information about Naples
Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania. It is the third-largest municipality in Italy and the 9th-most populous urban area in the European Union. Naples is close to the Vesuvius volcano and its gulf is famous all over the world.

Naples International Airport (http://www.aeroportodinapoli.it/ ) is only a few kilometres from the city centre. By car, it takes about 20 minutes to travel from the airport to the city centre.
Naples airport is connected to many of the most important cities in Europe. If you are looking for a low-cost flight, please note that Easyjet, Transavia, Vueling, Monarch and Ryanair fly into Naples.
Transportation from airport to city centre:
- Taxi services are available at Naples airport 24 hours a day and are located outside the arrivals area. A taxi ride from the airport to central Naples takes about twenty minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately EUR 20.Please note that there are fixed rates from the airport to the main destinations in the city (City Centre, Molo Beverello, Mergellina etc).
- Airport Express shuttle (Alibus) operated by Azienda Napoletana Mobilità. This bus connect the airport to the Beverello Harbour (close to the Conference Venues). Times of departure are available at this link.
